It IS Better in the Bahamas !

We have all heard it said that it is better in the Bahamas... well it is true! After 7 winters of exploring here and having listened and talked to many world cruisers who have stated that the Bahamas have it all… we agree! The Bahamas cover a relatively large area, roughly 300 nm by 400 nm and include some 700 islands with another 2000 Cays. They have crystal clear waters, countless deserted beaches, sandy anchorages, friendly people, great reefs, lots of fish / turtles / sea life / lobster, and the unique option of sailing on the protected Bahama banks OR the open ocean.
We have chosen to charter in the beautiful Exuma island chain area of the Bahamas. Most of the islands are uninhabited and ALL of the best cruising islands are completely safe, day or night. We have found that flying into and out of either Staniel Cay in the middle Exumas or Georgetown on Great Exuma, is the most convenient for our guests. From here we can access all of the Exuma Island chain as well as have access to Cat, Conception, Long and the Ragged Islands. The Exuma Island chain separates the deep ocean water from the beautiful protected crystal clear waters of the Bahama banks. This provides a variety of sailing and fishing options. Weather will always be the number one consideration for our sail plan as safety is our priority. We love the beauty, remoteness, deserted beaches, snorkeling, fishing, lobstering and the great sailing that this area offers. For longer stays or more flexible itineraries, other options for arrival and destinations within the Bahamas are possible. Please talk to us about your wishes.
